Summer News From Santa Monica’s 4th Street Recording
After thirteen years in business, 4th Street Recording finally has a lounge worthy of its clientele. The new 2-story space features a downstairs seating area with kitchen facilities, DSL, and a fooseball table, and a loft featuring a big-screen TV with Playstation 2.
Also added was a new Protools HD3 system and an editing room. The first project in residence in the new facilities was MCA’s “piano core” band Something Corporate, whose song “iF U C Jordan” from last summer’s EP (done entirely at 4th Street) was enjoying airplay on LA’s KROQ and other radio stations nationwide.
